Dr. Bob Urata after 34 years at Valley Medical Care has retired and is now enjoying some well deserved rest and relaxation. We will miss his medical skills and knowledge, his sense of humor and the abounding energy he put into every endeavor. As patients of Dr. Urata, you will be well taken care of as you transition to other providers at our clinic. Dr. Urata has made recommendations for each of your care to providers here at VMC. |

Acute Care Same Day Appointments
VMC saves appointments each day for our patients who need to see a physician or nurse practitioner for an acute care issue. If your provider is not in the office, we will schedule you with another practitioner. Saturday morning appointments are available for acute issues.
Lab Appointments
Please remember to call and make an appointment for your bloodwork. This gives the lab time to confirm that you have lab orders and to make sure we are providing you the best service. The Lab is also open in the evenings, if not fasting, and on Saturday mornings for your convenience.
Answering Service
Valley Medical Care continues to have an answering service that is available after hours for emergency questions.
Hospital Care
If you need to be admitted to the hospital, a VMC physician will follow you throughout your stay.
