The Medical Technologist collects and processes specimens and performs lab procedures by manual and automated methods in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Evaluates, records, reports and documents patient and QC test results in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Performs QC and QA tasks for all methodologies and performs routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting all instrumentations.
- Communicates with clinicians about orders and results as appropriate.
Bachelors degree in clinical laboratory science or related field. Current certification as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Two years experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred but new grads are encouraged to apply as well.
Compensation $36.00 – $46.00
